Our background in the legal aspects of Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury and Social Security cases, combined with our broad experience in each stage of the MSA process, including submission of MSA proposals and negotiation of COBC lien issues, makes us uniquely qualified to assist with the complexities and spending requirements of their MSA Accounts.

The MSA Meds team is well-versed in all aspects of Medicare Set-Asides, including what treatments Medicare covers for each specific condition; MSA pricing methods and guidelines; and all the other exhaustive rules, regulations and reporting requirements for maintaining MSA compliance to avoid jeopardizing future Medicare eligibility.

MSA Meds is truly an advocate for injured workers!  We support many Kid’s Chance organizations, as well as local state trial lawyer associations including the Southern Trial Lawyers Association (STLA) and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ), the Hawaii Association for Justice (HAJ), the New Hampshire Association for Justice (NHAJ), the California Applicant’s Attorneys’ Association (CAAA), and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (NEPTLA).

Our Professional MSA Administration team

Colleen Fowler, Esq. is MSA Meds’ in-house attorney and a founding partner in the firm. Colleen has been working with Medicare Set-Aside Allocations since 2003.  After graduating from Penn State and the Dickinson School of Law, she began representing injured workers in 1997 at a Pennsylvania injury law firm where she started writing and submitting MSAs for her clients.  She then became a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified (MSCC) in 2006 and founded her own Medicare Set-Aside company.  Colleen is also a Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional Fellow (CMSP-F).   Licensed to appear before the Supreme Court, Colleen is a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), where she served as a past Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section, the Pennsylvania Bar Association,  the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the National Medicare Secondary Payer Network (MSP), the Workers Injury & Law Advocacy Group (WILG) and an associate member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA) and the California Applicants’ Attorneys’ Association (CAAA).

Andre Hinchman is a founding partner and CEO who has been involved with providing injured workers their medications since 2002.  He formed MSA Meds in response to the clear need for assisting post-settlement clients with their MSA administration requirements. Andre graduated from Sonoma State with a degree in Biology. 

His background includes positions working with electronic financial transactions with First Data Corp. and work as an investment advisor early in his career. Andre is a Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional Fellow (CMSP-F).  He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association, MSP – the National Medicare Secondary Payer Network and an associate member of the California Applicants’ Attorneys’ Association (CAAA).

Susanne Mickatavage brings over 20 years of experience in helping injured workers, having worked in an injury law firm and MSA Company.  Her expertise includes solving medication issues for clients, coordinating with physicians for medication compliance with MSA provisions, and pharmacy interface.  Sue is a Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional (CMSP) and a member of MSP, the National Medicare Secondary Payer Network.
