How Our Service Works

When a client you refer to us enrolls in our professional MSA administration service, we undertake the following processes:

  1. An expert and thorough review of all settlement, CMS, MSA and Medicare allocation and approval documents
  2. Establishment of an interest-bearing MSA Account in accordance with all Medicare Set-aside regulations
  3. Determination and confirmation that all required medications are approved for the client’s specific injury and are covered by Medicare
  4. Negotiation, substitution and resolution of any uncovered medication issues
  5. Prescription fulfillment by AllianceMeds in accordance with the Medicare-approved AWP pricing as set forth in the MSA Allocation Letter
  6. Review and payment of all injury-related medical bills, ensuring that the expense is allowable under the provisions of the client's MSA and is in accordance with the allocated fees for the service or medication
  7. Maintenance of account books, records, invoices, payments and receipts in strict compliance with Medicare Set-aside Accounting regulations
  8. Submission to the client of reports delineating every expenditure from the MSA Account
  9. Preparation and submission of the required annual report to Medicare in conformance with MSA requirements
